At the beginning of 2022 we brought together a group of local multidisciplinary queer artists to spend a week together exploring the theme of Queer Love Stories. 

Those wonderful artists were Aisha Ali, Emile Clarke, Molly Hawkins, Malaika Kegode, Ellie Showering and Megan Vaughan-Thomas. 

QSB’s illustrator Molly Hawkins then used some of the themes, conversations, and phrases from the week as inspiration for a series of works. In particular, the phrase ‘sexuality as wide as the sea’ is taken from the quote by Derek Jarman.  

Sales of these works will help cover QSB’s core running costs. We hope you enjoy your new pieces of art. They are made with queer love and joy!
